Compression of Spinal Cord by Anomalous Vertebral Artery: Case Report
Lee Sang-Jin

Abstract
Cervical cord compression caused by anomalous bilateral vertebral arteries (VAs) is very rare. A 14-year-old man presented with progressive cervical myopathy due to vascular compression of the upper cervical spinal cord. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed that the fenestrate bilateral vertebral arteries had compressed the spinal cord at the C-2 level. Computed tomography and 3D contrast computed angiography demonstrated anomalous bilateral vertebral arteries compressing the spinal cord.
